I’m Madi—behavior analyst by day, mom by night, writer whenever I can find a spare minute. This month I’ll be talking about a WIP that’s been stewing around in various forms for… longer than I want to admit. It’s my baby! It’s current iteration is leaning more toward contemporary romance instead of its fantasy roots, so I’m excited to see where it finally ends up.
For today’s question—probably Invi. Her hair is so big because it’s full of everyone’s secrets, and she’s got plenty of money to throw around, so we’d have a big girl’s day trading hot goss over brunch, mani/pedis, and margaritas by the pool!
How would you respond to a 3 year old asking 'What is the sun doing?'

#toddler was feeling under the weather today and the mental drain it had cannot be understated. The #crying, the #clinging, hearing his voice hoarse from coughing…was enough to send me over the edge to tears a few times today (mainly bc I couldn’t do much to improve things). Today I realized why so many #moms step back from work these first few years of #parenthood. Doing them both well is nearly impossible, unless you’ve got help.
Does every #toddler scream like their pants are on fire, or are we just lucky? #toddlerlife seems to have arrived -quite loudly- in the form of howling screams and belly laughs. Oh boy oh boy are we in for an adventure!
