#TimeTeam, (in)famous for digging entire sites in just three days, spend four excavating the inside of a bucket
(In fairness, it's a very good bucket)

If you’re a fan of OG #TimeTeam but haven’t got into the new stuff on YouTube, I recommend checking out the recent batch of episodes on #SuttonHoo
It’s Tony Robinson presenting again and a few other familiar faces too. More importantly the episodes document a month long dig so there’s more to see including some pretty spectacular finds.
The dig resumes this month so there’ll be more episodes (next year I guess)
I'm not sure if she's actually watching or is just waiting for dinner time, but it's nice to have someone to discuss with.
Win a chance to work on a Time Team dig at Sutton Hoo:
* Garden Field excavation (3rd June 2025 only)
* Garden Field finds processing / pot washing (3rd June 2025 only)
* Test pitting at Sutton Hoo (3rd orientation day, 4th, 5th and 6th test pits June 2025)

I'm watching a new #TimeTeam Expedition Crew with (now eaten) breakfast...
My reading for the weekend is for Warrington SF Book Club #wsf Is Le Guin's Left Hand of Darkness which is probably going to lead to more of the Hainish cycle...
So I have Left Hand in Folio Society pretty version, a cheap paperback and as part of the Library of America 2-Volume Hainish Cycle collection
Great new #TimeTeam episode, it had the feel of one of the old ones.

@PetraPhoenix It's the only reality TV worth watching! Still going strong on YouTube/Patreon with many of the old faces.

I know most people bingewatch dramas.
Me? I just discovered loads of old Time Team on All4 and am delightedly watching them whenever I get the chance.
I watched 6 hours worth yesterday! It's such a comfort watch!
Just found this great resource for searching #TimeTeam episodes:

Re last boost: a very apt cartoon to share as, over the past couple of weekends, I've really enjoyed getting into old episodes of #TimeTeam on YouTube. I had zero interest when it was originally on TV, but now it's not only interesting to me, it can be perfect background for other tasks. Except for the times when the #archaeology is too interesting and those other tasks get thrown into a test pit. The new episodes are equally good, so it's great to see the show live on.

More #TImeTeam, a classic episode about a henge in Scotland, and a crannog island in a loch. So much wonderful stuff!
My better half gave me a dip to try.
Knowing I’m not a huge dip fan, she said she’d eat what I couldn’t.
“Okay, I’ll give it a try”
#camembert #beetroot & #rosella #dip!
I was very interested, being a fan of #roselle & all.
Fantastic! Very nice, not too much of any ingredient - I was pleasantly surprised.
#snack eaten with #Ritz #crackers.
The bowl the dip comes in looks like #SamianWare lol (#TimeTeam fans know what I mean)
