In antiquity, the Blue Grotto was the private swimming pool of Imperator #Tiberius, who withdrew from Rome to Capri in 27 CE.

On this day in 42 BCE, #Tiberius, the adopted son of Emperor Augustus, was born. As the second Roman emperor, his reign saw significant military expansions, consolidation of imperial power, and the establishment of a more autocratic government. This bust of Tiberius is now in the Archaeological Museum of Istanbul.

Das ist der römische Kaiser Tiberius
Eine Person, über die man sicherlich viel erzählen kann. Ich finde die Geschichte am lustigsten, dass #Tiberius versucht hat, das #Küssen zu verbieten. Er ekelte sich vor den Krankheiten, die man bekommen kann, dass man sich z.B. mit #Herpes anstecken kann beim Küssen ist schon lange bekannt. Natürlich hat es nicht geklappt und die #Menschen haben fleißig weiter geknutscht.
