Not quite as stupid she sometimes seemed as the #Brexit Prime Minister >> ‘ #Trump, ahead of a state visit to Britain, endorsed the former foreign secretary as #TheresaMay’s successor. “He made points about what a good prime minister #Boris would be,” May says ruefully. Was he right? “He’s entitled to his view,” is the icy reply.’ 😂

Financial Times · Theresa May: ‘Keep calm and keep talking to Trump’By George Parker

After 15 years of #stagnation, parts of #UK are now poorer than the poorest parts of Slovenia and Lithuania (report by #NIESR see extracts & link below).

The #ConservativeParty / #Tory came into #government (#TheresaMay #BorisJohnson #LizTruss #RishiSunak) and messed up!

But #Labour (#KeirStarmer) hasn't been doing a good job either. It now has 4 years to prove itself. Time flies.

I agree. The poll cited is by #focaldata - who have an excellent record due not least to #jameskanagasooriam (whose work in #scotland rescued #theresamay in #ukgeneralelection2017 ). #electoralcalculus has produced very similar results to it. Using their open access model suggests that a return of just 3% of voters back to #labour from #reformUK would give #Laɓour a substantial majority. The 3% group is not anti-immigration but expects actual delivery from the #labour government.

I wish we had someone like in charge here in the . Was head of European Council & tried to talk sense into during the basket years. Was genuinely more concerned for our welfare than our criminal government.

The tribunal that the BBC (only) implies to be involved is the Medical Practitioners Tribunal.
According to Wikipedia the current chair was appointed in 2016.
Which is on the watch of either #Tory #DavidCameron or #Tory #TheresaMay.

Who knows if the chair is one of those who thinks that letting #ClimateChange proceed unprotested, to the clear harm of patients, is the ethically upright thing to do?

The tribunal at any rate has shown itself to be taking that spineless position.

The #Guardian on #Sunak's election manifesto: I think history will judge, of the #UK's 5 (yes, 5) Prime Ministers in the last 10 years (Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss (!) and Sunak) that #TheresaMay was, all in all, the best. Of a very poor lot, of course.
