Franz van Betteraey<p>Being able to have many projects added to your workspace but only a few open is such a great feature in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Eclipse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Eclipse</span></a>. I think it's a shame that other IDEs (e.g. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/VisualStudioCode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VisualStudioCode</span></a> or <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheiaIde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheiaIde</span></a>) don't support it.</p><p>Closed projects are not searched or otherwise synchronised, but you have quick access to open them again.</p><p>I benefit from this every day.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SoftwareDevelopment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SoftwareDevelopment</span></a></p>
Joakim Durehed<p>Trying out Theia IDE. I'm mostly creating scripts, writing some Ansible, Terraform and PowerShell. And lately some Ruby. So I'm not a heavy duty developer. But the few days I've tried Theia it works fine. It is very similar to VSCode since it uses the Monaco Code Editor. </p><p>I like that it is developed by Eclipse Foundation. They've been around for a long time.
