Saw the Swedish edition, as well as the second in the series (in English) in the shop today. I have a mile high TBR pile, so I never brought them home.</p><p>I should have, shouldn&#39;t I?</p><p>Currently reading <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Machine" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Machine</span></a> by <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ElizabethBear" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ElizabethBear</span></a> and enjoying it.</p><p>Just finished <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TheGoldenEnclaves" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TheGoldenEnclaves</span></a> by <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/NaomiNovik" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NaomiNovik</span></a>, and loved the whole <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Scholomance" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Scholomance</span></a> series.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/PatBarker" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>PatBarker</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Books" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Books</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Literature" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Literature</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Homer" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Homer</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Bookstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Bookstodon</span></a></p>
Ste Cook<p>My holiday paperback was <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheSongOfAchilles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TheSongOfAchilles</span></a>, bought on a whim in the airport because I’d vaguely heard good things about it on clocksite. Very different take on The Iliad to <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TheSilenceOfTheGirls" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TheSilenceOfTheGirls</span></a>, which I read earlier this year, but I loved both.</p>
