Roku's ads are pitching some QVC/HSN streaming service that: A) exists, and B) has a few original movies on it. One is "The Recipe Files", some knockoff Hallmark Christmas movie. From the trailer on YouTube, a woman investigates a possible baking-related murder and finds love. No sign of skepticism about aliens *or* answering machines/harmonica theme music.
I caught an episode of #TheRockfordFiles last night and was reminded why that show has both the greatest opening sequence and one of the best theme songs ever. #Nostalgia
