It'a just ridiculous how much effort and detail went into "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish".
Kid is rewatching some scenes and is like "hey! I don't remember that frame being so cool!", literally going frame by frame, and some things happen in just two frames in a different drawing style. Each frame is a piece of art on its own.

Much like this guy, I did not expect this movie to be any amount as good as it ended up being. I saw it after #TheLastWish, so all I can see is the ~relatively~ stiff #animation of the 2010s. But regardless, everything else in this movie still impresses me.

I know, I'm late to the party, but this movie feels so fresh & exciting, dynamic & fun & so well paced!
I also really enjoyed the voice cast a whole lot.

Hugh fan of her acting, but her vocal performance here missed the mark quite considerably & felt really out of place for me, compared to the rest.

I didnt connect with this aspect of Goldie's story, fully. I was distracted by Puss' story. I didnt see that she is a perfectionist, & why she wanted her wish.

So I watched the first #PussInBoots movie. And i thought it would be not as good as #TheLastWish. And there is still that awkward, early #Dreamworks #animation feel. But actually, it was quite good! I enjoyed it alot. Going to work my way up to finishing the #Shrek movies.
