Whoosh<a href="https://techhub.social/tags/kDrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kDrama</a> The Heirs (aka The Inheritors) (2013 - 20 1:00 eps) REWATCHA classic I 1st watched in early 2023. Knowledge of language & culture made it even better. The episodes flew by as the spoiled illegitimate 2nd son fell for the poor girl & had to fight to love her.Phenomenal casting of 3 proven leads early in their careers & the supporting actors (see hashtags) who have all had stellar careers. A screenwriter with several other highly-rated dramas (The Glory, The King: EM, Goblin...) The 3 leads & the show won many awards.It has a lot of wrist grabbing which was common at the time. But the depth that these young actors portrayed is astounding. Lots of character development & we come to understand their pain & the reasons for their actions. Didn't realise the lead was Kim Woo-Bin from <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/TheInheritors" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheInheritors</a> which I finished last week. Happy to see him in something else though! <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/Kdrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Kdrama</a>

commonstI really enjoyed watching <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/TheInheritors" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheInheritors</a>, even though it felt a bit dated in some aspects. Probably because it's ten years old so that is forgivable.<a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/thesoundofmagic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#thesoundofmagic</a> was also good, and really kept us on our toes the whole way through. Kim Woo-bin is phenomenal.🤑 A struggling poor teen girl somehow ends up as a transfer student to a school all the rich corporate heirs attend. We need a real "Where Are They Now" revisit. Kim Woo-bin: if I weren't already a fan, this show would've made me one. What a character arc!Lee Min-ho: I can understand now why, after gushing to a friend how much I loved <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/TheKingEternalMonarch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheKingEternalMonarch</a>, she said she didn't like LMH because of his role in The Heirs. Not that he was a bad actor! No! Just his role is of a spoiled, jealous, violent, clueless, but handsome, teen. It *is* a role that could be defining if that's your first exposure to him.Choi Jin-Hyuk: I am glad I got to see him in both <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/MrQueen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MrQueen</a> and <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/KangchiTheBeginning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#KangchiTheBeginning</a> already. He has such an iconic voice. Jill 🛸Because Kim Woo-bin's new "Black Knight" series is out, I decided to start watching a much earlier <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/kdrama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#kdrama</a> he was in: <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/TheInheritors" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TheInheritors</a> or <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Heirs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Heirs</a>. (I needed something more light-hearted than "Black Knight" or even "Misaeng".)The fancy California house that Lee Min-ho's character lives in feels almost duplicated by his house in Spain in "Legend of the Blue Sea", so I had to check to see which series came first. LotBS is from 2016 and Heirs is from 2013.I haven't seen much with Park Shin-hye before other than in the movie "My Annoying Brother" with Doh Kyungsoo. She cute! (And he sang at her wedding last year.)
