Infirm. Resigned. On the border of terrified. Failed marriage with his true love heavy in memory.</p><p>And also the kicker.</p><p>Alone and isolated.</p>

It's dark for me. Though since my disappointment with that Iain Banks book which featured the chair made from bones I haven't gone searching for dark.</p><p>Tangent: A relative had an Audible account but forgot how to check email etc and so Audible closed thr account. AIUI they lost all access to the previously downloaded books when the account closed. Not clear if you've got that covered.</p>
