Je viens de voir le documentaire "Hayao Miyazaki et le héron". Très touchant à bien des égards et illustre aussi bien les affres de la création de ses œuvres.
Patience, acharnement, remise en question, souci du détail...Tout cela se retrouve dans ses films, soignés jusqu'au dernier calque. Un génie (bien entouré)!

It’s beautiful

Watched **The Boy and the Heron (2023)** and I feel very conflicted. Certainly a gorgeous and soothing film visually, yet I do not buy much of the story, characters, motivation and relationships. Beyond its autobiographical or self-referential elements, rewatching it did not feel as rewarding. Although I can recommend this for fans and the vibes, it feels like a weaker entry overall. (Or tell me how to appreciate this.)
