Paul SwiatkowskiMoments after taking this shot a tree came sliding down the icy gorge mere feet away from me. Needless to say I packed my gear up as fast as I could to get out of there. A very scary moment at Stony Brook State Park and one I'll never forget. This was back in 2010 and I learned real quick, there is a reason why they close trails off. If a trail is closed, don't be a young me, stay off! Paul SwiatkowskiChittenango falls after some very heavy rains in 2010. There was so much mist it was hard to keep the lens clear taking this. Paul SwiatkowskiThis is Rockwell falls on a foggy morning in Lake Luzerne NY. This isn't the easiest waterfall to get a photo of. It's on a bridge that gets a lot of traffic and it shakes as every car goes by so I opted to go early in the morning so there wasn't a whole lot of traffic. I would say waking up early and having a little patience paid off here.
