Ricardo Harvin<p>I won't be watching <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Symbiopsychotaxiplasm" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Symbiopsychotaxiplasm</span></a>: <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TakeTwo" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TakeTwo</span></a>.</p><p>Too bad the content and tone of Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TakeOne" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TakeOne</span></a> are so opposite from <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/NeptuneFrost" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NeptuneFrost</span></a>, which I watched last night.</p><p>Both inventive and unique, but <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Symbiopsychotaxiplasm" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Symbiopsychotaxiplasm</span></a> is of the past with its ingrained toxicity, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Neptune" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Neptune</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Frost" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Frost</span></a> is of now, and our future, in its openness, acceptance, and <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/communal" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>communal</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/spirit" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>spirit</span></a>.</p><p>Three <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Black" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Black</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/filmmakers" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>filmmakers</span></a> (2 on Neptune Frost), two very different results onscreen, and in my emotional response.</p>
