@iuculano
what the trade Minister wants to do is stupid and short sighted.

TPP countries and EU should join together and then reach out to Mercosur and Ecowas and SADC to establish an International Commerce Authority without the USA, China, russia, and all the other rogue imperial states.

The EU and the Trans-Pacific Patnership countries should create a "Planetary Commerce Authority" without USA and China that can substitute the WTO (after the USA killed it) and guarantee international commerce from the unfair trade practices of China and the schizophrenic tariff policies of the USA.

Then it could be expanded to other regional economic organizations like MERCOSUR, SADC, ECOWAS...

Must read explainer on Taiwan's constitutional crisis by Kharis Templeman

⚖️ Statement by alumni & current students of the College of Law at National Taiwan University of opposition to the unlawful amendments to the Constitutional Court Procedure Act (憲法訴訟法)

"As students of law, the democratic constitutional order is the core of our belief system. Based on all we know and have learned, we cannot sit by and watch the paralysis of the Constitutional Court, nor the collapse of the separation of powers."

台北時報 · Against the KMT’s amendmentsBy 台北時報

The Constitutional Court Procedure Act (憲法訴訟法) passed through Taiwan's Legislative Yuan yesterday with the support of the KMT and TPP.

The law requires a quorum of 10 judges to hear a case and a supermajority of nine to rule against the constitutionality of a law. However, the court currently only has eight judges with seven positions remaining vacant
