#RIP Gino Mäder (1997—2023), who died today after a crash yesterday in a descent of Stage 5 of the 2023 Tour de Suisse.

Huge bummer for the cycling community. Gino Mäder a Swiss pro rider for team Bahrain Victorious, has passed away following a very serious crash during stage 5 of the Tour de Suisse.

Not the sort of cycling news you want to see getting reported by the mainstream press, truly horrible to hear that #GinoMader has passed away after his crash yesterday 
A very talented young rider who had been plagued with bad luck in the last few years, and someone who always came across as a genuinely nice person.
Thoughts are with his family, friends, team mates and all the peloton who knew him.
