1. Four camera angles on the same performance. No multiple takes.
2. Each camera angle has a different colored background
3. Videotaped in 1978, so green screen technology would not be this precise looking
How did they do a different colored back drop for each camera angle?
Hopefully this is a time where “quality over quantity” really is a thing.

Greatest special effects timing in a movie EVER -- in The Bourne Identity, there's a scene set in a Paris apartment. After a short buildup where Bourne is responding to cues we don't see or hear, creepy in itself, an assassin breaks in through a large window with a tremendous crash.
I've watched the movie quite a few times. I KNOW its coming. And every single time, it gives me a shock. Not sure how that is done.
Any movie experts who can explain this? Is there some timing rule that this cleverly breaks?
