#Snyderverse

1 post1 participant1 post today

I actually thought Batfleck had potential an' I wish he'd been given a half-decent movie.

But that don't justify the toxic fandom an' Snyder bros!

What's the most ridiculous Snyder bro argument you've heard, poozers?

People complain about the #Snyderverse, and Snyder’s interpretation of Superman in particular, saying he doesn’t understand the source material. That he fundamentally doesn’t get what’s interesting about superheroes, why Superman works as a character. And I can see that.

But I don’t think you can say that about ‘Watchmen.’ He got ‘Watchmen.’ Or had people around him who did. This movie’s problems don’t arise from ignorance of the source material.

Fellow Super-Fans, what do you think of this costume for David Corenswet in James Gunn’s “Superman”?
I love that there’s a yellow S on the back of the cape. I prefer the traditional, unflavored, regular ol’ costume. Mister Terrific, though, does indeed look terrific.

Despite the recent introduction of a multiverse in Andy Muschietti’s unfairly maligned #TheFlash, which would have allowed #Warner to pick and choose which superheroes turned up in its new reality, the new #JamesGunn-led #DCUniverse will not feature anyone from the #DCEU. #Comics
