I really miss using #Seamonkey browser. It looked like classic Netscape Navigator suite. It just couldn't keep up with the advancements in Gecko. Last time I checked, it didn't support a number of extensions I use regularly, like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger. It felt more like a relic of bygone days of the internet.
I was browsing around and Seamonkey still exists, still releasing new versions? So cool. This is a continuation of the Mozilla Suite and Netscape Communicator before that, back when it was more common to have a software collection with web browser, email & news, html composer all in one.
Hnnngggg that old interface, those cute buttons and small panel grabbers

I'm late to read the news, but I'm sad to see #Firefox / #Mozilla is turning into something I won't be supporting in the future.

Will need to find a new browser until #ladybird @ladybirdbrowser is released!
Any good suggestions? I will be checking out #Floorp, #Librewolf, #Seamonkey and #Waterfox

#cloudflare is blocking multiple "alternative" #webbrowsers like #palemoon, #seamonkey and some ESR releases of #firefox.

So a few weeks ago, a relative of mine was looking for a new home for his old ZEISS research microscope.
And while I'm not a biologist - I'm a pretty big optics and photography nerd so I obviously couldn't decline the offer.
Let me take you onto a little journey to the #microcosmos
Pour Firefox, n'oubliez pas qu'il existe SeaMonkey: https://www.seamonkey-project.org/
Looking into new browsers after this Mozilla announcement. Seems to me anything Chromium-based is out, of course. I've heard of Libre Wolf and Pale Moon, and I've actually used SeaMonkey some.
Any suggestions or pros and cons for the options I have listed? I don't feel like my requirements are too crazy:
Must respect privacy and allow me to retain ownership of my data (duh)
Must support uBlock Origin
Lightweight preferred (ie, simpler is better)
Ideally available on Linux (Debian-flavored) and Android
I'd like to get a couple potentials lined up and try them out over the weekend.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
@PJFDF @bagder yes, you can do everything wth #curl!

Visit his obituary for further details and, if you feel so, add a condolence message.
We are still all very sad and will miss him and his cat Bella much. Light a candle for him and remember: No one is really dead unless you stop thinking about him or her and we won't forget him and what he did for sure.
He left a big hole and we will see what we can do about publishing prerelease builds in the future.
Rest in Peace Bill
