French Bank Myna released their new album EIMURIA a few weeks ago and it's definitely more catchier for me than Messa's The Spin.

For this #Saturdoom I will share with you an artist that doesn’t use guitars in their music, a first for me.
Slovenian act Forged Relics released their debut Portal recently. It’s a glacially slow, crushingly heavy #FuneralDoom record that, as promised, does not feature guitars in any way.
It consists of vocals (stately clean and guteral grunts), drums and a church organ. It feels as if Nosferatu and Dracula teamed up to create this beautiful experience.

My #SaturDoom song for this week is from the new Dutch #doom outfit Structure who just released their debut last week. The album herritage features heavy growling #DeathDoom with a very layered structure to it. At times songs get so low and slow that it becomes #FuneralDoom. A very interesting listen to be sure and this record is starting to live rent free in my brain.

My personal favourite track is Living On The Earth but the whole album is excellent.
I'm also seeing them live tomorrow as support for Gnome.
This Saturday we observe #SaturDoom, a day in the week when we share our deepest en most gloomy thoughts and emotions through the medium of #music. The genre of #Doom spans more than #metal, #rock or #electronic music, but shares a deep and brooding feeling of dread, despair, sorrow and pain. And through these emotions creates beautiful music.

My addition to #SaturDoom is the new album from In the Woods...., this #DoomMetal outfit makes some pretty compelling #doom mixed with some #Gothic, #Black and #Folk influences. Stately cleans combined with gutteral growls and beautiful melodic lines that reminds me of the older style Paradise Lost.
