"Songbird" by #WillieNelson. From 2006 and again full of re-interpretations. Produced by #RyanAdams.

Quality tunes. Before listening, I took a quick look at the track list and there was "Stella Blue"- the expectations got really high! An interesting version, but a bit too guitar/band heavy - blame it on the producer. Still acceptable.

So... It's the first week of 2024 and #RyanAdams has already dropped 4 albums. Very impressive.

I think my favourite is probably Heatwave, but they're all pretty damn good. Still one of my personal favourite artists. His music is still great so far into his career.

#NowSpinning #Cardinology by #RyanAdams & the Cardinals. I remember being a tad underwhelmed when I first heard this &, whilst it isn’t at the level of, say, Cold Roses or 29, there are some incredible songs, Fix It, Go Easy, Crossed Out Name, & Stop, perhaps his most heartfelt performance.

The artwork is really well done & betters the later ‘logo’ version. There is a smattering of non-fill on side two, but otherwise this sounds incredible.
