Als ich vor der Fontana dell'Acqua Felice stand, war ich beeindruckt von ihrer Geschichte und Schönheit. Dieser Brunnen, 1587 erbaut, trägt nicht umsonst den Namen "Moses-Brunnen". Es fasziniert mich, dass Papst Sixtus V. damals ein so ehrgeiziges Projekt startete, um Rom mit frischem Wasser zu versorgen. Ein wahres Stück lebendige Geschichte.

When I stood in front of the Fontana dell'Acqua Felice, I was captivated by its history and beauty. Built in 1587, it’s known as the "Moses Fountain" for a reason. I find it fascinating that Pope Sixtus V undertook such an ambitious project to supply Rome with fresh water. A true piece of living history.
