ThomasPrisoners beaten to death by guards in prisons in New York (State)As recently as March, a shackled prisoner was beaten to death by prison guards in New York. Another victim of lethal state violence, whether in the USA, Germany or elsewhere.Only in December, in another prison but in the same town, another prisoner was beaten to death by officers.Again, friends and famillies who have to mourn a loss. In one of the New York cases, the unusual thing is that guards are being punished for the murder, partly because there is incriminating video footage.
