Cooler with two bottles, De Metaale Pot, c. 1695 - c. 1715
The cooler is decorated with vase and floral motifs surrounded by laurel wreaths in the style introduced into the Netherlands by the Frenchman Daniël Marot. That this cooler still has both its bottles is exceptional, as most of them have perished over time.

Deel A, bestaande uit verschilende aan elkaar geplakte stukken papier, toont het randpatroon van voorovergebogen hanen. Deel B toont het middenveldpatroon van regelmatig geplaatste komma-achtige figuurtjes. Deel C, met aangeplakte stukjes papier, toont het hoekpatroon, bestaande uit een vierkant met daarbinnen een bloemachtige vorm samengesteld uit komma-achtige figuurtjes. Deel D is het hoekpatroon, een variatie van de staarten van de hanen, dat is weggeknipt uit deel E. Xiwangmu grows peaches in the Kunlun Mountains. Because her trees only bear fruit once every 3,000 years, immortality is conferred on those who eat them.

Durga Killing the Buffalo Demon, anonymous, c. 1000 - c. 1100
The fight between the Hindu goddess Durga and the demon is described in various Sanskrit texts, which are well known to Hindus. The demon could change shape. He first appeared as a buffalo and was beheaded by Durga; the buffalo’s decapitated head can be seen lying on the ground. When the demon assumed human form, the goddess killed him again, this time using a trident.
