LaF0rge<p>I recently briefly heard about the Indian rural telephone exchanges (RAX), which appear to go back all the way to electromechanical switches. They (C-DOT) even built a V5.2 Access Network called AN-RAX. Started to collect some documents at <a href="https://osmocom.org/projects/retronetworking/wiki/C-DOT_AN-RAX" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">osmocom.org/projects/retronetw</span><span class="invisible">orking/wiki/C-DOT_AN-RAX</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/retronetworking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retronetworking</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/isdn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>isdn</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/telephony" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>telephony</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/history" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>history</span></a></p>
