There’ll be talks, workshops, and a dedicated community-focused third day.</p><p>The maximum registration fee is $30 AUD, but lots of free tickets will be available to keep things accessible. Katz<p>Research software is increasingly recognised as a core research output, alongside publications and datasets.</p><p>Across OECD countries, targeted reforms are supporting its development, openness, and long-term sustainability. Research Software Asia Aus<p>Dr Minh Bui, co-developer of the globally-used phylogenetics software IQ-TREE2 and winner of the inaugural ARDC Eureka Prize for Excellence in Research Software, will be delivering the <a href="https://fediverse.au/tags/RSAA25" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RSAA25</span></a> keynote!</p><p>Together with Professor Robert Lanfear (Australian National University), Dr Bui developed IQ-TREE2 – an open-source tool turning DNA data into evolutionary insights.
