"Now, a new ProPublica data analysis adds empirical weight to the mounting evidence that abortion bans have made the common experience of miscarriage — which occurs in up to 30% of pregnancies — far more dangerous. It is based on hospital discharge data from Texas, the largest state to ban abortion, and captures emergency department visits from 2017 to 2023, the most recent year available."

"According to a review by The Marshall Project, hospitals in at least 27 states across the U.S. are required by law to alert child welfare authorities to a positive drug test or potential exposure -- even before a second, more definitive test can be given to the mother to ensure it wasn't a false positive. This often leads to long and stressful investigations that can turn a family's life upside-down."

Procedural abortions can resume in Kansas City Missouri after a ruling by Jackson County Circuit Court Judge, Jerri Zhang.

The ruling isn’t all good news, while this does resume procedural abortions, there are still restrictions on medication abortion, but any abortion being legal is a huge win. This means Planned Parenthood can start providing them again.

The Nazi Party has been doing everything within and without their power to get abortions banned again in the state after voters approved a measure to lift the ban back in November. And in 2026 it’s back on the ballot again! #missouri #abortion #freedom #healthcare #AbortionIsHealthcare #reproductivehealth #rights #news
