#QuestionOfTheDay best animal in fiction?
#QuestionOfTheDay most evil animal in fiction?
Throwaway #QuestionOfTheDay just because I realized the name shows up a lot: best and worst fictional characters named Kyle?
Corollary to yesterday's #QuestionOfTheDay (which you can still answer if you want, it's nested above this toot): what's the worst face turn (bad character turned good or revealed to always have been good) in a work of fiction you've consumed? Why was it a bad decision/execution/etc?
#QuestionOfTheDay what's the worst heel turn (good character revealed/turned evil during the story) in a work of fiction you've consumed? Why was it a bad decision? (Bad execution? Bad idea if general? Goes against character/arc/theme? Twist for the sake of a twist? Etc)
How well do you know Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem?
You could take this multiple choice test from Paul Rudnick:
"Kristi Noem is sad because:
A- Her reality show 'PUPPY HUNT' was canceled.
B- She can't deport Chef Boyardee or Mama Celeste.
C- Immigrant babies can slip out of handcuffs.
D- Her boy friend Corey Lewandowski forgot the anniversary of their first time checking into a motel while his wife was out of town.
E- All of the above."

#QuestionOfTheDay fictional prospect draft! You have the #1 pick in a draft of fictional heroes/heroines BEFORE they became heroic or powerful. You have no idea who the rest of your cast or party will be and no idea what other fictional characters you can acquire later or put around your draft pick so they may not necessarily develop into the powerful/heroic character they do in normal canon.
You can pick from any work of fiction.
Who do you choose to lead your party in a quest of unknown challenges and difficulty?
#QuestionOfTheDay fictional adventure expansion draft!
for those unfamiliar with expansion drafts in sports, it's when a new team or teams are added to a league and they can take players from other teams, but teams can protect their best players from being drafted so usually you're taking from the lesser players on every team
My question is: who do you pick to form an adventuring party made of 5 fictional characters to do a quest of unknown challenges?
You can pick characters from any franchise but only side characters/terrible characters/weak characters. No cheating, I trust you to be objective about which characters would be valuable enough to be "protected". Don't try to find loopholes. Try to find value.
#QuestionOfTheDay for a fighting tournament of all fictional characters, which 2 fictional characters would you want as your TV commentary team? Pick one for play-by-play and one for colour commentary/analysis.
#QuestionOfTheDay 3 parter:

B) franchise you like ruined by management
iii) franchise you like ruined by creator/players
#QuestionOfTheDay what's a thing you thought would fail or be a flash in the pan when it started and you were wrong about it?
What's a thing you thought would be a huge hit and on-going franchise or cultural phenomenon when it started and you were also wrong about it?
#QuestionOfTheDay what's a work that started off doing something that's not actually what the work is about or turned out to be but that you wish it had stuck with?
to give examples of what I mean: the anime Street Fighter 2 V started as a travelogue of Ken and Ryu touring different countries to learn different cultures and fighting styles before very quickly becoming Street Fighter 2 and inevitably having M. Bison take over the narrative and be about fighting him and I wish they had stuck with being a travelogue
Another I've heard are ppl who wish the bait and switch of S1 Babylon 5 didn't happen & it stayed as a goofy Trek episode of the week knockoff instead of LotR in space
It's the anniversary of LeBron's The Decision and also top hockey prospect Gavin McKenna has made a Decision today to play his final "amateur" season in NCAA to make money instead of in the CHL.
Nobody on Fedi cares about this obviously, but in honour of Decisions, my #QuestionOfTheDay for you all is: what's a consequential/impactful Decision made by a character in a work of fiction you care about (like or hate) and why is it a big deal? (Use spoiler tags to go into detail)
