We are at a state where testsystems with a small number of qbits (20) are installed in supercomputers. These will slowly grow in size and usability and in 5-10 years, it will decrease time to solution by doing part of your compute on that. However, this will not be a chip or a card in your machine, it will be a physically separated system, probably in a different room. All, in all, it will be a nightmare to use it, worse than when GPUs came out. And: They do not talk about energy in the Quantum Computing community.</p><p>15/n</p>
