Please note this is an intersex-exclusive term. Sometimes perisex (non-intersex) people who want mixed sex characteristics will ignorantly say they want to "transition to intersex". This reflects harmful misconceptions about what intersex is: there is no single kind of intersex body, it ignores how intersex is a social experience, and disrespects the intersex community by not bothering to learn about us and our struggles. According to this proposal, Pride flags would be banned from being displayed in public schools and government buildings, while Nazi and Confederate flags could still be permitted for “educational purposes.”
