The stonework.</p><p>Castles, burgs, churches, and buildings in general, are always pictured as bare stone, and THEY WERE NOT! </p><p>They were stuccoed and painted in bright colors. White, yellow, red, blue, etc.</p><p>Interiors, too.</p>
