Dear #CovidConscious / #CovidCautious Community:

Please follow and support the #ThreatModelCovid newsletter -- no idea how we got lucky enough to deserve @violetblue and to still be getting thorough, vetted news roundups here in 2025, but lets all do whatever we're able to keep it going and to keep Violet and the kitcats thriving.

Patreon tiers start at $1 a month. Violet's goal is to have half her subscribership be paid subscribers, no matter the tier. We can totally nail this 💪 😷

Scicomm YouTuber Dianna Cowern, aka Physics Girl, came down with COVID in July 2022 while on honeymoon. By March 2023, she was hospitalised with ME/CFS and spent nearly two years housebound and bedbound. This year, she has slowly begun to recover.

I hate Youtube shorts with a passion & not being able to get back to one is just one reason - but I did click on it, because it was #physicsgirl Dianna Cowern finally standing, if only for a moment, on her own two feet for the first time after having been literally laid up for two years by long COVID 💛💛💛
