I'm not convinced the #GOP has the fortitude to expell #GeorgeSantos, even given his obvious corruption. I'm guessing he doesn't think they will either, which is why he's not resigning. As long as you've got an R after your name and vote the way they want, you can be as corrupt as you want and they'll still stand with you. #Republicans like to beat their chest and crow about the law, but that all goes away when it becomes inconvenient.
If you or I blatantly encouraged other people to break the law in a very public way, we would be in trouble.
