"Live to Tell" is a song by American singer #Madonna included on her third studio album #TrueBlue (1986), and in the 1986 film #AtCloseRange. Ha! Trump’s dedicated pettiness cannot be overestimated.

President Donald Trump has rejected a settlement offer of $15 million from Paramount after he sued the company over a 60 Minutes interview last year with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

The Wall Street Journal broke the news of the offer on Wednesday.

Mediaite · Trump Reportedly Rejects Paramount’s $15 Million Offer to Settle Absurd 60 Minutes LawsuitBy Michael Luciano

:thaenkin:

Frmr Trump insider Lev Parnas:

"Paramount is reportedly considering settling. But the Freedom of the Press Foundation just blew the lid off what could be a backdoor deal with massive consequences. They sent a scathing legal letter to #Paramount chief Shari Redstone demanding document preservation and warning that any payout to Trump might constitute a 'bribe' — a quid pro quo to secure Trump’s blessing for a pending Hollywood merger."

Raw Story · Ex-Trump insider drops 'behind the scenes' news that's 'bigger than a lawsuit'By David McAfee

I'm watching the new season of The Rehearsal and Nathan Fielder points out that his episode of Nathan For You was pulled from Paramount+ because references to anything related to antisemitism, or Judaism, have made Paramount Executives uncomfortable in the wake of October 7th.

Because of that, they pulled his episode about antisemitism, and if you search Paramount+, you can find 50 hits of the word "Nazi" but none for the word "Judaism".

This is, of course, antisemitism.

As an aside, The Rehearsal is hands down the single best television show I have seen in years, maybe a decade, and I can't recommend it enough.
