Took my shirt off and managed to get a mild sunburn while I was working outside today.

In the Colorado Mountains.
We had good weather, is what I'm saying.
In the Catskills today. Temperatures are over 40, no gloves, no hat needed after a half mile of hiking. Trails are a mix of melting snow and slick ice. Spikes on, spikes off, all day long. #winter #hiking #catskillsny #outdoors

I climbed up this hill to be able to take in this lovely misted valley this morning.
As spring approaches, so too does the prospect of me walking to work as the sun rises. While being up and about between 4-5am is deeply unpleasant, I do enjoy the sunrise walks.

October 1, 1983: The first day of October in the North Maine Woods was a warm one — even warmer than yesterday. It was not even a bit chilly when I awoke.
While I was taking photos of the magnificent sunset at White Sands, a guy on another dune was taking his own pictures and selfies with his phone. At first I was annoyed but then I decide make him part of the scene.
