It is utterly ridiculous that #Strava doesn’t have turn-by-turn navigation. Fortunately, #OpenStreetMap came to the rescue: export the route GPX from Strava on the web, import into #OsmAnd, and voila! Turn by turn audio navigation in my Shokz. Absolutely amazing for riding new routes!

App Idea:

List nearby drinking water stations using #OpenStreetMap data (I’m sure someone has already done this)

Jeg har lige skrevet til OK Amba, vedrørende data i deres OK app (den til bilister).
Jeg kan ikke se tankstationer eller ladestandere i appen - på trods af at dens kort er baseret på #MapLibre, og altså #openstreetmap. På deres hjemmeside bruger de google maps, så måske henter de data derfra gennem en API som ikke findes på min #fairphone med #e_os?
Jeg har derfor foreslået at de bidrager med data til OSM - giver lidt tilbage til fællesskabet. Så kan de også selv hente data derfra, jo.

Andre med lignende erfaringer med OK appen? Eller Kan i faktisk *se* lade- og tankstattioner i den?

Benefited from this on Tuesday as I wasn't sure about the pubs on Severn Side North & anyway I'dcontinued to the end of Severn Side South to see some red-head Goosanders. Since then others have added a lot of extra detail, including the tap room.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Online-#Kartendienst, den man kollaborativ zur #Reiseplanung nutzen kann. Ein kurzer Versuch, das Ganze mit #Mapstr zu realisieren, war nach 5 Minuten beendet, denn in der Desktop-Version kann man in der kostenlosen Variante keine POIs anlegen. Das geht nur auf dem Smartphone. Ich frage mich ja, wer auf solch kleinen Displays und ohne Tastatur ernsthaft eine seriöse Tourplanung machen kann. Ich jedenfalls nicht --> Account war also nach 5 Minuten wieder gelöscht.

Turns out: Natürlich gibt es da auch etwas von #OpenStreetMap: #uMap

Und das funktioniert so, wie man das erwartet. Gutes UI, intuitiv bedienbar, benutzbare Shortcuts und die Features, die man braucht. Ich kann den Dienst nur empfehlen!
