Thanks to The Colonial Theatre in #Phoenixville, Pa., I was able to see the new Wes Anderson movie last night. “The Phoenician Scheme” was outstanding on practically every level. Cannot wait to see it again.

Just watched Doctor Who (2023) Season 2 finale

Wow. That was something to say the least. Very convoluted in places but great fun

The ending and the guest appearance (spoilers sweetie) were really good and hopefully there will be a Christmas special to follow on even if there is not another series for a while

Comedy / horror with a bit of romance, which is difficult to pull off successfully, but it's a delight when it is - as it is here. It's also a subtle but biting satire. Fantastic cast, quirky characters, all aided by being a Canadian production.

Very worthwhile. See it.

Tiny but fantastic cast, one setting, touching, funny, and warm - see it. Note: you may have the urge to kill the character 'Charles' for the duration of the movie.

Ariyon Bakare carried that episode. His performance was pitch perfect.

Went to #Thunderbolts yesterday, and both my wife and I were thoroughly entertained. Best #MCU film in a while (though I've generally enjoyed even the more recent offerings). Less reliance on CGI, more on characterization; less on cosmically intertwined plots, more on personal stories. Good stuff.

I watched a horror movie the night before 9/11. I have never watched a horror movie again and I never will.

I had a certain naïveté before that day and the world became a horror movie and the horror was real and ever-present.

It also breaks my rule about the more genres associated with a movie, the worse it is. This one is listed as "action, adventure, horror, romance, scifi" but doesn't fall into that trap.
