Achieved the moonshot of reaching the Top Ten on at last one category Best Seller list: settling in at #3 on the Best Seller List for "Management Skills" and "Strategic Management," and, the book is in the top ten in three OTHER categories -- including some of the big competitive ones!

Yesterday's eBook launch of "You Are a Strategist: Use No-BS OKRs to Get Big Things Done" exceeded all of my goals thanks to your support. Here's a quick update!
Achieved our "achievable" baseline goal of a #1 Top New Release in the "Management Skills" category;
Achieved our key result (stretch goal) of a #1 Top New Release in the "Strategic Management" category;

And then my personal favorite key result: for this trimester, I have a goal of increasing the number of times we hear "I feel seen" (or a similar sentiment) in spontaneous feedback, from [no baseline] to 16 times... and after one day, that trimester goal is 50% achieved!

#NewBookDay got a buy 3 get 1 free deal on what turned out to be some decommissioned library books (not mentioned in item description) in notably worse condition than the seller listed them in. most disappointed in the rip in the dust jacket of that world treasury as it's one of only two english printed versions of the #StrugatskyBrothers story Destination: Amaltheia. suppose they can't all be winners ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've been on a stint re-reading a bunch of #books I enjoyed when I was young, and I recall this as one of my favourite series. Alternately titled The Exile Saga or The Pliocene Exile Saga by Julian May.
I've also taken to buying both digital and physical copies of books like I do with music, and I really appreciate that the publisher — Tor UK — make their #ebooks available DRM free so I can back them up and move them between devices.
