Added to floating plants, Anubias and Java Fern…and a rooted plant…more floating plants (Salvinia?) and duckweed freeloaders.Also some free loading 🐌 of indeterminate (to me) kinds.When time available, will move ferns and anubias to wood where they belong.Water chemistry has been amazingly stable…low pH, no/low ammonia/ nitrite/ nitrate/ phosphate, despite root tabs and spiking with algae wafers.All in all, things looking good so far.Goal of this tank is to prove that native substrate components and natural filtration can be used to develop a natural, low maintenance aquarium that requires less import of materials.Most plants are propagated locally or even at local shops.
