Hey all! It's your friendly neighborhood mod Glitch and I need your help! :boostRequest:

I am a trans nonbinary neurodivergent disabled person who is chronically ill (ME/CFS and degenerative disc disease in lower spine).

I'm just out here trying to survive in this hellscape here in the US, and unfortunately mutual aid is the only help I have right now as I haven't been able to get approved for disability.

Please help if you are able. I know there are a lot of folks out there in worse situations, but if I can reach my goal I can pay off my storage unit for this month, and have a little left over for some other things I need. Thanks!

In an effort to help with funding for flood recovery, I am selling this hand-made wooly lace shawl!

Pattern is Ashton shawl by Dee O'Keefe.* Added another leaf motif row before doing the border. Measures a general 60 by 30 inches.

100% wool, so it will be itchy to some folks. Yarn is KnitPicks Palette Fingering held double. Unknown color because I found the yarn at a local Goodwill years ago, but it is a nice neutral brown

I am selling this lovely thing for US$500, starting price. All proceeds for this will go towards my flood recovery, namely buying myself a bed.

Hey Fedi, so I had surgery at the beginning of the month to cut a 10cm lump out of my abdomen, and I'm about half way through the recovery; I currently work in warehousing so need a lot of time of because it's physical labour, so I return to work on 19 May, hopefully. Which means my first payday would be the 28th of May.

So I have a crowdfunder going to help me through till then. As it stands, if I don't buy any food, I still need about $400 in two weeks time for rent, $150 the week after that for phone and internet, and another $500 the week after that for rent again.

I've raised a little, which combined with a tiny bit of savings has got me till now, but from here on is when it gets Really Tight... I'd really like to continue having food, shelter, and internet, so if you can help that would be most appreciated, and if not then please share the link around, both on here and anywhere else you are able.
