paprikapink
I'm not usually a violent person, but right now I'm watching #MurdochMysteries and yelling "Just shoot him" every time Gillies appears on the screen

I've been reading a little about historical
immigration laws in Canada (out of interest
because it comes up in a #MurdochMysteries
episode, but also to inform a project I'm
working on) and it's *interesting* to me that
much of what we find horrifying about
Edwardian laws (racist, xenophobic,
eugenicist) is still applicable today, but many
people either don't realize that, don't want to
realize that, or don't care.
