There’s a pair of Pac-Man 25th Anniversary arcade cabinets in Loeb in Bern, what a pleasant surprise. The left one contains an iCade, so it’s emulation, but the other one seems genuine: CRT, three games (Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Galaga,) and a 4-way joystick (essential for Pac-Man, it’s basically unplayable with an 8-way.) #Arcade #PacMan #MsPacMan #Galaga #Namco #Bern

My coffee is so good this morning. I have one cup per day, so I really appreciate it when I get the right blend of roasts and milks and a little foam leftover from my partner’s latte (which I make). Also, my partner got me this locally made mug for our anniversary last year, and I use it … maybe four days out of seven? Heck yes. Today is so fabulous that I want the cup to be the perfect temperature and taste forever. Mmmmmmm. #espresso #coffee #MsPacMan #SundayMorning #Oregon

Life has been pretty hectic lately, so I haven't been as ferocious about publications as I was before. Still, here's a little something - the three VODs of Stream 39, which had PAC-MAN, Ms PAC-MAN, and Part 8 of my playthrough of the original The Legend of Zelda.

Part 1, PAC-MAN:

Quick Magfest photo dump. I didn't take a lot of photos cause I was spending most of my time goofing around with my oldest playing video games. And checking out the wide assortment of cool merch.

Biggest surprise for me? Bishi bashi. Never played this Japanese game before and it was wild and silly. There were also a wide assortment of different styles of arcade beat games I've never played before. From ones with turntables to ones with switches (Little MDMRN pictured here playing one of them here).

Merch I picked up for myself? A Bandai Rowlet model kit that I can snap together, an enamel pin of a Gameboy with my favorite starter (bulbasaur), and a Shonen Ashibe Gameboy game.

But yea, overall fun, but exhausting for me cause...crowds.

Anyway, will go again next year.

Had fun at Magfest today. But, driving in & being in huge crowds like that is just...exhausting for me.

Had a lot of fun with Little MDMRN playing a lot of various arcade games. However, glad to be home now.

But yea, tried a lot of various arcade games.

Also Ms Pac-Man. Love that game.

Have a great evening.
