Doubled the size of the US by PURCHASING the Louisiana Territory from Napoleon.

Cut the National Debt by 1/3.

Served as Secretary of State and VP before becoming president.

Supported public education (founding the University of Virginia.)

Teddy was a virulent #Environmentalist who protected #YellowStone & The #GrandCanyon (T**** reopened the Arctic Wildlife Refuge to drilling.)

Resumed France's construction of the #PanamaCanal and agreed to SHARE it.

So there you have it, and as a granpa myself, it kinda takes my breath away, the disrespect of carving up a native people's mountain, named Six Grandfathers and replace that with a white-washed granite caricature of two men who depended on slaves for their very livelihood, one man who vaunted white supremacism and Abe Lincoln who ceded the west to whites. Sad stuff for heroes on a mountain, smdh
