@ami_angelwings First thing that came to mind for "imaginative" was this cute little tune from Creedence Clearwater Revival, "Lookin' out My Back Door".
John Fogerty says it isn't drug-inspired, and I believe him--it always felt whimsical and childlike to me. (Not that it wouldn't be good if it were drug-inspired.)
