He can't simply back out of Ukraine and say "oops, sorry, my bad" after a year of telling his citizens the <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/UkraineInvasion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UkraineInvasion</span></a> was justified.</p><p>Also, <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Russia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Russia</span></a>'s pal <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/China" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>China</span></a> has been making unusual overtures lately to both sides for a resolution.</p><p>Perhaps by moving against Moldova, Putin hopes for an easy win, and to distract his people from his failure.</p><p><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Transnistria" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Transnistria</span></a> is a strip of Russian-backed separatist territory between Moldova and Ukraine. Almost certainly, because Moldova is on the other side of Ukraine, Putin hopes to use them for military access, to surround Ukraine.</p><p>This makes it all the more vital that we defend <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Moldovans" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Moldovans</span></a> and their <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/democracy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>democracy</span></a>, and help fight <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/RussianPropaganda" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RussianPropaganda</span></a> however we can.</p><p><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/RussiaUkraineWar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RussiaUkraineWar</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/UkraineWar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UkraineWar</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/UkraineRussianWar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UkraineRussianWar</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Misinformation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Misinformation</span></a> <br> <a href="https://www.dw.com/en/moldova-suspends-six-channels-over-ukraine-disinformation/a-64137437" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">dw.com/en/moldova-suspends-six</span><span class="invisible">-channels-over-ukraine-disinformation/a-64137437</span></a></p>
