This doesn’t surprise me. Care homes are rich pickings for #moderndayslavery. Bringing in young eager people from poor countries. The salaries offered take them over the govt minimum, It’s a proscribed job, then the employer deducts accommodation, food, heating, travel, “admin” expenses etc etc. they will also have them working two jobs and very long shifts.

This is only possible because of #brexit and #Tory immigration policies.

The truth is with slavery, it never truly ended, the name just changed to mass incarceration. Bare in mind felons and ex-felons have very minimal rights, they can't ever vote, live in public housing, get a college loan or practically anything else, and during their incarceration, they are practically free labor, with abysmal healthcare amongst others. #moderndayslavery
