Reading Beltorchika's Children. I don't understand why Amuro and Bright are fighting for a nation that does this... and I don't like how Zeon, a nation of refugees, is portrayed as Nazi-like by the narrative for opposing it...

I've heard some people say Beltorchika's Children is better than Char's Counterattack. So far, I would say BC is much clearer in its themes than CCA was.

Gundam fans would understand the "weird" gender stuff in Tomino's shows if they were more familiar with Freud. Because Tomino was influenced by Freud's concepts (like the oedipus complex, universal bisexuality, etc) and it really shows. I read Freud's Three Essays on Sexuality recently and it is highly relevant to Gundam in my opinion.

Yesterday I found a Gundam ttrpg from 25 years ago which very ominously says that Char has little "resistance to torture/drugs." What the fuck kind of roleplaying was Bandai trying to encourage here? Scary...

I have collected so many Lalah pictures. There's more than enough to make one of those daily picture bots, but I don't know anything about setting those up. A future project, perhaps.

I read the first two chapters of the new Witch from Mercury manga. I was hoping I would like the Sulemio in that better than the anime, but Miorine is still way too fucking mean to Suletta! The art is good in this manga but everyone is bullying her so I don't know if I'll keep reading it or not.

Hearing about Sulemio is what got me interested in Gundam in the first place, so I wish I enjoyed it as much as other people. But I just love Suletta too much, I don't like to see her disrespected... I hate that part in the anime where Suletta saves Miorine's life and Miorine gets mad at her for it...

I reread the Song of Songs since Gqux referenced it. It's sad how the song has been edited and twisted into something it wasn't meant to be... I like Kate Bush's take on it, "The Song of Solomon."
