I just realised that I can add the entire server for a #peertube instance as an #rss feed.

I will probably do this temporarily to find creators on the instance I like or subscribe to this rss feed via mastodon so it doesn't flood my rss reader.

(I used a locally hosted #miniflux server as my rss reader, Accessed either through the browser or another app through an API, sometimes on mobile on my home network)

The #Miniflux 1.2.4 installation was successfull, but I'm getting a 500 when adding feeds! I think the thing is just too old, blah!!

What's up everyone? I'm on the #RSS reader hunt. I think I've found something, it's just old. It's still around though. #Miniflux was recently, well sometime recently changed to trend toward timeline view, when I don't know. That is instead of subscription view, which I like better!, a whole lot better! Anyway, there's an older version of #Miniflux that doesn't do this, thing is it's a fairly old one because it was before their rewrite lol.

Finally reimaged my raspberry pi (3 b)! Got my #Syncthing working again for my notes & photo backup, and added #Gitea & #Miniflux to get a taste for locally hosting services.

#Blind people who #SelfHost, has anyone used #FreshRSS? Currently using #Miniflux, and I like how #accessible it is, but FreshRSS seems to be a little more powerful and I'm tempted to try it. The only thing is that I briefly tried the demo instance, and it didn't seem to be the most accessible. Is anyone using it successfully?

Alright already...... it's time to set up an RSS feed aggregator. What do you all recommend? #miniflux and #freshrss seem like the leading projects here. I intend to host via docker. I think my wishlist is dark mode and some kind of push mechanism when new items arrive. Atm looks like only miniflux hits both.

Para esto estoy haciendo pruebas con #miniflux y #feeshrss, que me permiten tener sincronizado todo entre dispositivos y además aplicar filtros (muy util para los feed de youtube).

Finally cleaning up my RSS feeds and moving to a self-hosted approach! Using Miniflux as the aggregator and trying out a few different clients (TBD).
