"She passed away peacefully" on Sunday, surrounded by family at her home in the town of #SaratogaSprings, a statement said.
Love, a daughter of #Haitian #immigrants, had represented the state of Utah in the #HouseOfRepresentatives.

Ada M. Fisher (October 21, 1947 – October 7, 2022) was an American physician from #SalisburyNorthCarolina, and a frequent #Republican candidate for office. She challenged incumbent #MelWatt in North Carolina's #12thCongressionalDistrict in 2004 and 2006. Fisher said that she would like to be the first black Republican female elected to Congress; however, #MiaLove actually became the first black Republican female elected to Congress. A life member of the #NAACP and a lifelong Republican.
