#TheWayToEden grew out of a screenplay by #DCFontana called, "Joanna," about Dr #McCoy's eponymous daughter, who then has a thing with #CaptainKirk. (Not sure if she was to be green. She became #Irina & #Chekov's love interest.)
Her screenplay was adapted into #TheWayToEden. However, she was sufficiently unhappy with the changes that she removed her name from it and used an accustomed pseudonym: Michael Richards.
I suspect she may also have thought certain elements were embarrassing. But this episode retains quite a lot of charms.
It features #SkipHomeier as #DrSevrin. Homeier also played #Melakon in #PatternsOfForce.
