RasterInterrupt
Got myself this gorgeous #mechanicalkeyboard last week. It's an #Evo80 with linear switches. Typing almost sounds like raindrops. I love it!!

I've been typing for over 40 years on all kinds of keyboards now, but I never actually learned to type properly. I only ever use three fingers on each hand. I'm fast, but not really fast. And I make lots of mistakes as soon as I don't look at the keyboard.

For the past few days, I've started practicing proper touch typing for about 10 minutes daily. Currently, I am only practicing the home row. It's odd, but if I practice for too long, my mind gets overwhelmed, leading me to freeze up and mix up all the keys.

I wonder if it's even possible to break a deeply ingrained long-standing bad habit that has been hard-wired for so many years?

#learning
